eLearning Prerequisites

eLearning

All eLearning must be completed no later than the day before the practical.

GWO Prerequisites

Participants must hold an in-date GWO WAH, MH, and First Aid Certificate

No formal medical is required however participants should have a good standard of general fitness.

Participants will be asked to complete a medical self declaration at the start of the registration process.

Participants must registered with WINDA – https://winda.globalwindsafety.org/register/course-participant/

Course Certificate

GWO Advanced Rescue Certificate is valid for 2 years.

GWO have launched their own unique certificate record data base WINDA. This system allows you and employers to check online using your WINDA ID to verify your current training records.

The course includes:

  • Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (HSIBR) also referred to as ART -Hub (cert issued as ART -H)
  • Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue (NTBR) – Also referred to as ART – Nacelle (cert issued as ART -N)
  • Single Rescuer: Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (SR:HSIBR) Also referred to as Single Rescue ART – Hub (cert issued as SART -H)
  • Single Rescuer: Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue (SR:NTBR) Also referred to as Single Rescue ART – Nacelle (cert issued as SART -N)

Refresher ART - WAH & MH

Note: This only applies to those that hold an in date ART N course

Participants will also receive Manual Handling and Working at Height refresher certificates as part of the course.
