Course
The Service Lift User aims to enable the participant to use a lift in a WTG correctly. The training will provide the participant with knowledge of multiple guiding systems and lift types in WTG. Furthermore, the participant will learn to perform the necessary pre-use inspections and emergency actions –and, when needed, take guidance from relevant manuals.
Fundamental to the training is the wind technician’s awareness of , and attention to, always following and seeking guidance from the relevant lift manuals and instructions.

GWO Service Lift User Certificate does not expire.
GWO have launched their own unique certificate record data base WINDA. This system allows you and employers to check online using your WINDA ID to verify your current training records.

Prerequisites
No formal medical is required however participants should have a good standard of general fitness.
Participants will be asked to complete a medical self declaration at the start of the registration process.

VR Delivery
The SLU course is delivered via VR training.
All headsets are provided by GWT.
